Ingredients:
? cup cooked quinoa
? cup carrots
Cook the carrots until they are soft, stir in the cooked quinoa. (The quinoa has been cooked by you completely at an earlier time.)
Next puree the carrot and quinoa in a blender or with a hand mill into a paste.
Serve by spoonful to your baby. Great taste and nutrition.

1 cup already cooked quinoa
1 cup milk—you can use breast milk, formula or whole milk

Quinoa Chocolate Chip Cookies for Older Children and the Entire Family
Ingredients
- 1 stick (4 oz. or 113.4 grams) butter, melted
- 1/3 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated white sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup cooked quinoa (cooled)
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips or chocolate cut into small pieces
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugars. Whisk until the butter is fully incorporated–no pools of oil on the outside. It may take some vigorous whisking.
- Next, whisk in the egg and vanilla.
- Finally, add the flour, previously cooked quinoa, baking soda and powder, and salt and stir until well blended.
- Stir in the chocolate chips or chocolate pieces.
- Place the batter in the fridge for 30 minutes to set up a bit.
- Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 375 F Degrees or 190 C Degrees, and line a baking sheet pan with parchment paper.
- Scoop 10-12 cookies out onto the baking sheet, and bake the cookies for 12-14 minutes, until deeply golden brown around the edges.
- Let the cookies cool on the pan, and then transfer to a plate for serving.

簡單易做的“西葫蘆藜麥餡餅”
適合青少年和整個家庭
原料:
2杯煮熟并冷卻的藜麥

Easy Zucchini Quinoa Fritters for Older Children and the Entire Family
Ingredients:
2 cups cooked and cooled quinoa
2 small Zucchini shredded
Olive Oil
? finely diced small onion
1 clove of garlic, minced
Salt & Pepper
Small spinach bunch, washed & chopped
Basil & Parsley or your preferred seasonings
Fritters:
2 large eggs, whisked
Salt & Pepper
1/2 cup flour
Lajiao, if desired
How to Make the Fritters:
When the zucchini is shredded, squeeze excess moisture from the zucchini by placing it in a small towel and twisting it to release the moisture.
The zucchini is then fried with the onion, garlic, spinach, salt and pepper.
These veggies are then combined with the previously cooked quinoa, flour and eggs to spoon into hot oil and make into patties. Enjoy!
